Sean Wotherspoon and Nike are Splitting Up
Don’t hold your breath for another hype colab from and … for now. Roughly a year after his Air Max Day—crushing collaboration, Wotherspoon is as saying, ‘I’ve been done working with [Nike], at least on another SW colab, for a while’.
The announcement dispels any rumours that he’s still working on Air Max 1/97, but doesn’t put a full stop on his relationship with Beaverton. ‘Still have good friends there,’ he said, ‘but being able to spread my wings again is the best feeling ever’.
While this might make his current Air Max 1/97s soar higher on the resale market, it doesn’t halt his next collaboration: an 80s-style dad shoe .
