SBTG and G-Shock Are Back At It
After making his name as a camo-obsessed customiser, Mark Ong went on to work with brands such as Nike, Reebok and Crep Protect under the banner of his own label, . But for someone who specialises in military aesthetics, what better company to collaborate with than the world’s preeminent tough watch manufacturer, ?
This isn’t the first time SBTG has collaborated with the Japanese timepiece giant, although it’s been a while between drinks. Now, to celebrate the 35-year anniversary of G-Shock, SBTG has brought their recognisable style to the classic DW-5600 model. The matte-green case and band has been wrapped with a black bull bar, under which is a camouflage-printed bezel. At night, the watch glows with a custom back light, while a custom engraved back-plate seals the deal on a unique design. The release will be accompanied by a hat, shirt and skateboard that sport the same patterning.
The SBTG x G-Shock DW-5600 will be available from a pop-up store in Singapore’s Wisma Atria from February 3, and from G-Factory locations as of February 12.
