Revealed! Six New Colourways of the Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog
Salehe Bembury may be responsible for several culture-shifting designs – the Chain Reaction created during his time at Versace, his work on boots at Yeezy and his swath of colabs with New Balance and ANTA come to mind – but none of his creations are quite as seismic as the ultra-influential Pollex Clog, a thumbprint-inspired design created in partnership with Crocs. The Pollex Clog forcefully kicked down the door that previous slip-on designs like the Yeezy Foam Runner had already forced ajar, and became one of the most striking original footwear designs in recent memory.
After releasing two designs at the tail end of 2021 and three earlier this month, Bembury and Crocs are set to release at least six styles later this year – and some outlets have reported that up to 20 colourways will eventually hit shelves! For now, we know that the Pollex Clog is coming back in Realtree camo, bright blaze orange, bold teal, sweet peach pink, airy white and stark black – the last two of which were previously leaked.
Bembury's famous thumbprint design language is visible across each pair's upper, and is contrasted by semi-translucent detailing on the toe plus signature Crocs straps on the heel. All six pairs are striking, but our personal favourite has to be the Realtree – it's peak dad style, adopted and remixed with a true touch of designer's flair!
The above images, first sourced by House Of Heat, were loaded up in the back end of the Crocs webstore but have yet to make a front-facing debut. Therefore, there's currently no official release date for any of the six styles but rumours indicate that they'll be touching down in the coming months. Expect each pair to retail at $85, with a possible small increase in price for the Realtree pair due to its more intricate print.
