Runway Debut! sacai x Nike Magmascape

There have been a lot of stellar collections unveiled at Paris Fashion Week, but there’s no denying that the footwear offerings did not disappoint either! For footwear enthusiasts, certain brands were more anticipated than others due to their ongoing sneaker partnerships, with key unveilings including Wales Bonner x adidas Sambas, as well as Junya Watanabe’s creations using the New Balance 1906 and 650, as well as fresh takes on pairs with Oakley.

Another duo who came ready to shake things up in the City of Lights was the dynamic duo that is sacai and Nike, who revealed a new creation. sacai have certainly followed a particular formula with the Swoosh over the years, but in 2023, they’re flipping the script with the Magmascape. Evidently a reimagining of Nike’s Air Footscape, the Magmascape is decked out with signature sacai double lacing, and the soles are reminiscent of Nike’s Lava Dome, which, of course, makes the collaboration even more GORP-friendly. The sacai x Nike Magmascape was seen in three colourways, including purple, brown and black.
