sacai and Clarks Get Chunky on the Wallabee

Clarks have been making headlines as of late, with the brand naming Martine Rose as their first-ever Creative Director. With the Wallabee finding traction with a new generation with the help of collaborations with the likes of Supreme, Salehe Bembury, and more, another collaboration is on the way with the Japanese label sacai.

Black leather and Maple suede make up the respective uppers, with sacai’s signature double-soled look arriving on two different midsoles. The chunkier Vibram ‘super sole’ midsole opts for a black look with large toothy lugs featured throughout, with the more subtle wedge midsole opting for cream and black, respectively. The iconic crepe midsole is still intact on both midsoles, with sacai and Clarks co-branding seen on the hangtags.

The sacai x Clarks Originals Wallabee is expected in the near future, most likely as a Japan-exclusive release. Keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates on a confirmed drop date.
