Rumoured for 2022: The Air Jordan 6 'UNC'
have been going nuts on the this year, blessing the silhouette with a , and smorgasbord of . And while 2021 is not quite halfway done, it seems that they’re already planning to make the AJ6 a force to be reckoned with in 2022, because a ‘UNC’ colourway has been rumoured!
Word of the Air Jordan 6 ‘UNC’ release comes straight from sneakersphere insider zsneakerheadz, and they’ve provided a potential mockup of the shoe to go along with the info.
Paying homage to alma mater at the University of North Carolina, this pair has been inspired by the college’s Tar Heels basketball team’s uniforms. With colour-blocking that is similar to the ‘Carmine’, you can expect an upper that consists of mostly white with added splashes of ‘University Blue’ and navy accents. The mockup also shows a familiar stitched tag on the heel that has also been used on other college Jordans such as the AJ5 and .
An alleged drop time has been slotted in for the northern hemisphere Spring in 2022, and apparently these will hit shelves in a full-family size run. However, official confirmation and imagery hasn’t surfaced, so many things could change before they arrive next year. We’ll keep you updated.
