Don’t Miss Rudyindahouse’s Seoul Solo Exhibition
If you’ve read Sneaker Freaker Issue 46, then you’ll already be familiar with Rudyindahouse, the artist whose sculptural sneaker creations have taken the sneakersphere by storm. Lim is currently holding his second solo exhibition right now in South Korea, and there’s plenty of heat on display, some of which we shared in Issue 46.
Rudyindahouse’s work has been inspired by his love of hip-hop, NBA and sneaker culture. Using a scalpel and heat gun, Lim deconstructs footwear and reattaches them with wire and glue, turning them into ‘exploding’ sculptures.
While he started these projects out of curiosity, his passion project has earned him commissions from adidas Korea and atmos among others. His second show is titled ‘Break Up to Make Up’ and features his wild sculptural works, including the ‘Chicagos’, eBay Dunks, adidas Forum and Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low.
Don’t miss Rudyindahouse’s Seoul solo exhibition ‘Break Up to Make Up’. It's open now and will close on September 9.
