Round Two for the Stussy x Nike Air Zoom Spiridon KK
When news of the x Caged first leaked, so did rumblings of a mysterious co-branded Air Zoom Spiridon KK. Now, finally, we’re getting our first look at the latest link-up.
Sporting the same gnarly sole unit as the Spiridon Caged, things get even wilder as you move up the shoe. A puffy, multilayered waffle mesh provides a snug shroud for the foot, while a synthetic web locks everything down. The stringy support – donated by the Spiri’s 00s brethren, the Kukini – slides nicely into the weirdo aesthetics that we love from Steven Smith’s Spiridon Caged. It'll no doubt cause a few double-takes on the street!
No release days for these yet, but expect them some time during the northern Spring.
