Update March 21, 2023: Per speculation, Ronnie Fieg has fully revealed the new Kith x Clarks Originals x adidas Samba. According to his backstory about the shoes, there were five rounds of sampling and over 18 months of work before the upcoming drop. It’ll release on March 24, along with a store opening yet to be announced.
Master collaborator Ronnie Fieg has taken to social media to tease out his next monumental sneaker link-up, which is set to be a big one. This is because it’s an unprecedented three-way between his Kith imprint, adidas and Clarks Originals. Never before has there been this sort of cross-pollination – especially between two footwear brands with overlapping market shares – but if there’s any person to do it, it’s Fieg.

While this is the first specific communication of the upcoming effort, those eagle-eyed among the internet community will have spotted an adidas Samba conspicuously sporting a crepe sole in Kith’s Spring 23 lookbook. This feature is, of course, the trademark of many Clarks models. So, assuming that this is indeed the collaboration, it’s set to be an interesting one.
The lookbook pairs glance at the pertinent details. These include the standard Samba OG upper (check out this guide to tell the differences) in white leather with suede toe cap and green stripes (a similar ADV colourway hit the market a while ago; so did Sporty & Rich’s colab) attached to a crepe rubber wedge sole. There is also a black and white pair plus a grey edition.
In Fieg’s teaser, there are multiple Clarks fobs in different shades, suggesting multiple colours are joining the party. Given his penchant for quick turnarounds on release cycles, expect more info imminently.
