Roger Federer May Switch to adidas Amid Tension with Nike
The Japanese label does not produce tennis shoes, but ESPN footwear expert Nick De Paula has linked Federer to a potential deal with adidas.
Federer says he will stay Nike until things come to a head.
'As long as I don’t have a new contract with a clothing sponsor, I [will] continue wearing Nike, which has been a good partner for 20 years.'
The 20-time Grand Slam champion first signed with Nike back in 1994.
