Revealed: Salehe Bembury x New Balance 2002R ‘Water Be The Guide’
Last year, New Balance’s lineup of epic colabs dominated the headlines, and Salehe Bembury’s 2002R was a key part of that. Dressed in full orange garb, and with co-signs from John Mayer and Don C, the crep saw an unprecedented amount of hype. Not even a year since the drop hit shelves, Bembury has already teased his next venture with NB!
Over the weekend, the footwear designer took to his socials to reveal that he’ll be once again collaborating with New Balance on the 2002R. He’s created a new colourway that’s been dubbed ‘Water Be The Guide’ which rocks a similar construction to his previous efforts. The eye-catching mesh sits as the base of the model in a light pink hue, with the unmistakable furry suede overlay doused in blue. A speckled midsole alongside green and orange accents makes way for the Salehe Bembury branding scripted down the lace keeper.,
Without a doubt, the Salehe Bembury x New Balance 2002R ‘Water Be The Guide’ will carry the same weight as its predecessor. Sadly, no release details have been confirmed as of yet, but we’re assuming that they’ll be arriving within the coming few months. Stay locked to SF, we’ll keep you updated as soon we hear anything.
