The Reebok Instapump Fury Heads to the Desert
Steven Smith’s Reebok Instapump Fury continues to occupy an important place in sneaker culture across the globe, the 1994 runner quickly transcending its performances origins to become a streetwear staple.
Built with its signature water-repellent ballistic nylon and exposed air pump bladder, the retro-futurist build is loaded with starry-eyed 90s tech. Soft Hexalite hexagonal cushioning is installed down below, while TPU midsole plates (for support and durability) and classic 1990s Pump design reinforces the throwback aesthetic.
Recently tapped for collaborations with Beauty & Youth and Maison Margiela, there’s also been plenty of solid mainline iterations, including this scorching warm-weather colourway, composed in a muted, sandy colour palette. While this latest Instapump Fury doesn’t currently have a release date, the colourway is expected to land over the coming weeks.
