Qubic - Blue Blood And Black Laces Exhibition

Qubic Kenny Samurai Blue Blood And Black Laces Exhibition 1

We can always count on Frank Liew and his store Qubic to throw a dope exhibition, after all the space was made to showcase not only the best apparel New Zealand peeps can cop, but also offers one of the best layouts to throw a party or admire some art work. Switching it up, Qubic in conjunction with Kenny Samurai presented ‘Blue Blood and Black Laces’ a combined denim and sneaker exhibition. What was to be a low key event for Solejammers, turned into a mass flock of Kiwi’s ogling only the finest in denim and also busting elbows to cop some nice samples in Qubic's first ever sneaker sample sale. From Visvim, to limited edition Nikes, to ish you ain’t never seen before, we’ve got all the exclusive shots of the night thanks to Uncle Frank!

As Frank tells us ' we had an event in the store the other day, it was supposed to be a low key event just for the Solejam peeps but it turned out pretty bananas. It was a combined denim and sneaker exhibition, along with a sample sale with the shoe brands we have in store. I'm pretty sure it was NZ's first denim exhibition, and we figured we'd put on a good ol' sneaker exhibition since it'd been a while since we had a good one here. We put the word out on Solejam, and come the night, we were surprised when a huge mass of people appeared outside in a line that stretched around the building waiting to get in. It was pretty chaotic but great fun at the end of the day.  There were even some real 'wtf' shoes I had never seen in person before which is definitely saying something; one of the largest collection of visvims I'd seen in person, and an awesome collection of Fenom Crush (#2 - #7), Neighborhood Savage, vintage jeans, japanese denim, worn & customised Nudies, and all sorts. Best part by far however was the chocolate cake that was gifted to us by The Chocolate Cake Company here. Blue icing, sickkk! Awesome night.'

Props to Frank @ Qubic for the images!
