Purple Hues Reach the New Balance 992
The experienced something of a resurgence last year when the silhouette was thrust into the hype cycle. Emerging in a slew of crazy colabs, classic combos, and clean colourways, the 992 now regularly features in the sneaker headlines and has heads freaking every time a new iteration drops.
New Balance have looked to purple hues for this latest rendition. Unlike the regular mesh base usually used on the 992, this version instead goes for what looks like a textured fabric foundation dressed in grey. Elsewhere, the regular suede overlays can be seen and have been doused in two different purple hues, with the eyestays opting for a lightly tinged pink that matches the rear section of the midsole. Elevating the model even further is the metallic silver finish on the tongue and heel.
Release dates are hazy for this purple-hued New Balance 992, official word on an exact time hasn’t surfaced as of yet, but some sources are hinting that we should be receiving them soon. We’ll keep you updated.
