Pharrell Releases an adidas Hu NMD Trio for NTWRK's Transfer Festival
Pharrell Williams continues his ongoing partnership with adidas, revisiting the Hu NMD silhouette to celebrate the staging of NTWRK App’s two-day Transfer virtual festival. Featuring panels, interviews, and music performances, the festival celebrates culture and design, and has been co-curated by none other than Edison Chen.
As for the sneakers, they’re coming through in the typical eye-catching Hu schemes, with lightweight uppers and BOOST cushioning. Blue and orange pairs show off juxtaposing colour-blocking, while a darker purple pair rounds out the trio. ‘BREATHE’ and ‘WALK’ feature on one pair, as Asian characters dress the other two uppers, respectively.
NTWRK’s Transfer festival kicked off on August 25, with Pharrell’s Hu NMDs set to arrive on August 26 via the app. A portion of all the festival’s proceeds will be donated to established organisations advocating for social justice reform, as well as to communities disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.
Featuring panellists including Deon Point, Futura 2000, and Don C, NTWRK’s Transfer festival still has a day to run. Head here for more info.
