This Pharrell x adidas Hu NMD S1 RYAT Is Ready for Warm Weather
In the last week alone, we've seen Pharrell and adidas' new Hu NMD S1 RYAT in a stark black colourway and a makeup that looked a lot like a hiking boot. Both of those pairs were sturdy and serious, but now a third style has been revealed and it's the brightest we've seen yet – a bulky, blocky footwear option for a warm day.
Shown off in a set of on-foot photos from @yankeekicks, the light-coloured RYAT offers a base made of grey textile and suede. This is quickly overlaid with white eyestays and bolstered with a white rubber shell. However, there's plenty of colours to be had as well: pastel orange and blue hits peek through on the upper and midsole alike (which have garnered some strange comparisons to the Union x Air Jordan 2), while pink is used on the laces and green graces the heel tabs.
Besides their pastel accents, the thick midsoles – borrowed from the NMD S1 – sit atop a unique tread pattern that repurposes the adidas Originals trefoil logo. Cream and black detailing around the collar work with a Humanrace hit on the tongue to finalize the look.
Just like the other two colourways, we have yet to receive a release date or pricing information for this pair. Keep it locked right here for updates on the Hu NMD S1 RYAT's retail debut as soon as they're made available.
