People Are Bidding Crazy Money For LeBron's First Retro
Right now, people are putting down thousands of dollars for first retro. The is set to drop at retailers for less than $200 USD on January 25, but already there are 23 people who have reserved the retro for amounts varying from $4503 all the way up to a wild $10, 500. It’s crazy money to throw at a pair of shoes, but there’s also a fair bit of altruism at play.
The retro is part of a StockX Product Offer pack that is being auctioned off for the Cavaliers Youth Foundation. Included in the pack is a lucite authentication tag, a sneaker box made from wood taken from the 2016 championship court, and the same gaudy championship ring given to members of the Cavaliers organisation.
