Pensole Academy Announces World Sneaker Championship 2014
Since its formation back in 2010, has turned more than 60 doodling hopefuls into industry super designers the world over. Guided by the likes of celebrated sneaker architect D'Wayne Edwards, students enter intensive hands-on tuition from some of the best in the business, with the likes of Nike, Jordan, adidas and Reebok taking on graduates.
In a bid to crown a king sneaker scholar, has today announced the 'World Sneaker Championship'. Taking place from May 27 to June 20 in New York City, 21 applicants will take part in the four-week master class, in which one ultimate design will be throned and manufactured to be sold at retail.
To apply for entry, and to be eligible to win a scholarship to attend the class - students must submit one original footwear design, sketched by hand in black and white or colour. Applicants must be at least 19 years of age or 18 with a year of college.
