Patta, Nike and FC Barcelona Link on the Air Max Plus

Nike’s perennial Air Max Plus has been delivering heat all 2023 long, from region-exclusive bangers to retro returns of 90s classics, and they’re far from pumping the brakes! It was recently unveiled that Team Swoosh was linking with Amsterdam-based Patta and FC Barcelona for a fresh new colourway that is sure to have TN fanatics swooning. Leaks have been circling about this linkup leading up to the unveiling, with official imagery confirming that pairs are on the way soon. Further rumours also suggest that an apparel collection with be releasing alongside the collaborative creps.

Chocked full of details, the Patta x Nike Air Max Plus ‘FC Barcelona’ has been inspired by the football team’s colours and uses the TN's iconic gradient to host ‘Rush Fuchsia’ and ‘Deep Royal Blue’ tones. The lateral and medial sides rock double Swooshes alongside Barcelona-branded dubrae and Patta tongues. Elsewhere, extra subtle Patta ‘P’ branding reaches the toecap, and they will come with an extra set of laces, both with special tips.

Rounding out this three-way colab is the ‘Culers Del Món’, an homage to the Spanish team’s fanbase.

Patta’s Nike Air Max Plus ‘FC Barcelona’ is sure to generate plenty of hype ahead of its release this year. Neither party has announced the linkup and a release date is yet to be locked in. Stay tuned to SF for updates!
