Update February 24, 2022: Pass~Port have officially announced their upcoming collaboration with Nike SB on the Dunk High called 'Workboot'! Taking to their socials, they shared a short video of the colab being put to work. There's still no word on an exact release date as of yet but we suspect that they'll be arriving in the near future. Stay locked for a Where to Buy guide and check out the video below.

While teasers and leaks have been doing the rounds for months, there’s been no official confirmation of the Pass~Port x Nike SB Dunk High ‘Workboot’ – until now. These Nike ecomm shots all but reveal the legitimacy of the collaboration, and it also likely means a release isn’t too far away.

Most will be fairly acquainted with the execution by now, but here’s a recap. As its ‘Workboot’ nickname suggests, this is a rugged update to the 1980s basketball shoe turned hype object and occasional skate sneaker. Of course, Pass~Port, the Australian skate collaborators will likely be using their new shoe for its intended purpose. As such, it’s appropriate that these Dunks are beefed up accordingly.

That’s achieved by sturdy suede and ripstop uppers, which meet durable rubber soles. There’s some metal D-ring hardware on the top flaps, which ensures ample lockdown but perhaps at the cost of loose lacing. The green and gold colour scheme is dinky-di Aussie as, and the miner Swoosh motif on the insole is perhaps a nod to the country’s laborious history.

Hopefully Pass~Port and Nike hit the social media feeds soon with release details, because there hasn’t been a SB Dunk colab launch in 2022 yet.
