Every now and then a release comes along that gets artists frothing. Illustrators recreate it, customisers whip up homages, memes pour in and the drop becomes a ‘remember when’ for sneakerheads to reflect on. It’s a rare feat, but recent has pulled it off.

The colab dropped last weekend and made headlines when stores forced resellers to wear pairs out of the store — a blow the profiteers tried to mitigate by straight after.
