The Limited Edition rendition of Sneaker Freaker magazine Issue 45 is out now! Yet another bumper edition of your favourite footwear periodical, this version with a special ‘scratchy’ veneer will keep your feet (and fingers) extra happy.

Part of Happy Trails, our 80-page expedition into the Great Outdoors, the Limited Edition cover star is Salomon and the XA Pro 1. Join us as we venture deep into the woods, paying visits to all the major players as we unearth some of this year’s highlights. From the aforementioned XA Pro 1 hiker to $1600 Louis Vuitton chalk-bags and HOKA ONE ONE’s crazy TenNine Hike GTX boot, there’s plenty of red-hot heat to get excited about. The collector feature with Teki Latex in Paris is one of the most thoughtful features we’ve finessed in a while, so get ready for a solid uphill workout.

Available exclusively from European stockists, this Limited Edition run of Issue 45 is a must for any avid sneaker aficionado.

Also inside, we get a world-first preview of the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v3 collaboration. We caught up with Joe to find out more about the background for this highly anticipated follow-up to his ‘No Emotions Are Emotions’ project from 2020. It’s another deeply personal Joe Freshgoods narrative sourced straight outta the late 90s, but there’s a serious point to be made. You won’t want to miss this one.

We also visit Camden, New Jersey, where Byron and Darien Gans have amassed an incredible collection of game-worn pro-models and vintage relics that are all on display at their Shoe Kings store. How this discombobulating shrine to vintage sneakers has managed to stay under-the-radar for this long is a mystery, but Air Rev’s freewheeling interview certainly does justice to the siblings’ unique story!

Also, there’s more to New Balance’s first ever skate shoe than you probably think. In 1987, a precocious teen wrote to the Boston brand, asking them to make a shoe for the kick-pushers. Thirty years on, we’ve reunited those shoes with their designer – the one and only Steven Smith!

Aside from that, you can expect the usual assortment of fresh news, salacious gossip, artist exposes, highly opinionated speculation, and much more in Issue 45.

Head to our handy to find out which global retailers are stocked up! Alternatively, you can grab a copy of the standard run via the Sneaker Freaker shop!
