The OTTO 958 x ASICS Collaboration is Coming
OTTO 958 is a brand created by Bulgarian designer Kiko Kostadinov and Morán Morán, the Los Angeles-based gallery. So far, OTTO 958 has focused on clothing, accessories and other art projects but they’ve recently debuted their own sneaker collaboration. As most of you know, Kostadinov has a close relationship with ASICS, and has helped connect the Japanese footwear behemoth with his other projects such as AFFXWRKS. Next up is OTTO 958, and they’ve been inspired by legacy soccer boots for their latest.
The upper uses an asymmetric lacing system, and rocks a full-leather construction and quilted toebox. Elsewhere, the tongue features an enlarged flap that covers the laces, rocking OTTO 958’s signature ‘O’ logo, their branding also reaches the heel. The most interesting point is the midsole, which hosts a separated forefoot area.
OTTO 958 haven’t announce a release date for their ASICS colab, but all three colourways should be arriving soon.
