Following last week’s sneak peek at the Knicks-Themed NBA x Nike Dunk Low, we now have an expansive on-foot that’s sure to fuel expectation for the release later this year. Forming part of a growing pack that’s celebrating the league’s 75th anniversary, this Knicks rendition joins previously revealed looks at colourways inspired by the Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls.
This Knicks version starts with a black and white base before adding hits of orange, blue and grey. There’s also the same calling cards from the other colourways we’ve seen so far, namely the ‘75th anniversary’ tongue tags with the iconic Jerry West silhouette from the NBA logo, and diamond-etched lace dubraes – because 75 years is traditionally the diamond anniversary.
Despite now firmly sitting in the casual category, the Dunk’s on-court credentials can’t be questioned, after starting its life as a genuine baller back in the 1980s.
While an official release date for the NBA x Nike Dunk Low EMB ‘75th Anniversary’ collection is hush hush at the moment, pairs are expected to release later this year – possibly in October. Stay tuned for updates.
