On-Foot Look: Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Mono Ice’
So far, there’s been mixed responses to the new aesthetic of the Yeezy BOOST 350 V2, with four revamped colourways revealed as part of the ‘Mono Pack’ collection. Coming through with a refreshed upper design, these 350 V2s are blessed with subtle tweaks, which bring a welcome new look to the long-time Yeezy staple. Last week, Yeezy Mafia gave us the first IRL look at the ‘Mono Ice’ colourway, and now we’ve got some on-foot shots of this stone-cold colourway.
Thanks to yankeekicks, we can get our best look yet at the new clean full-mesh overlay, which is said to be the same material used along the stripe of the ‘Static’ 350 V2. Underneath the translucent upper, there’s a skeleton-like pattern – arguably the biggest shake-up to the design. That’s not all though, the laces have also received added eyelets for protection. The pull-tab at the rear and usual side stripe add some contrasting dark blue touches, while a crisp icy white outsole completes the look.
Alongside the ‘Mono Ice’, the Mono Pack will also feature ‘Mono Mist’, ‘Mono Cinder’, and ‘Mono Clay’ colourways. All four renditions of these Yeezy BOOST 350 V2s haven’t received any official release information just yet, but we hear they could be dropping on June 21. We’ll be sure to bring you confirmation once we get it.
