On-Foot Look: Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 ‘British Khaki’ Up Close
Travis Scott has already put his creative touches on the Air Jordan 1, Nike Air Max 270 and Nike SB Dunk, and now the all-conquering rapper is turning his attention to another colourway of his Air Jordan 6 collaboration. Remixing it in a slightly lighter ‘British Khaki’ scheme, La Flame originally revealed the pair when he gifted it to his three-year-old daughter, Stormi. Now, after a slew of sneak peeks, we’ve got an on-foot look (with a Crimson lace swap!).
Coming through in a combo of ‘British Khaki’, ‘Sail’, and ‘Bright Crimson’, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 ‘British Khaki’ is built with suede uppers and crimson branding. The translucent tongues, heel tabs, and outsoles (with co-branding) give the design more aesthetic depth, while the stash pocket (that appears on the side of the shoe’s collars) is perhaps the most distinct aspect of this AJ6. Additionally, there’s glow-in-the-dark details on the tongue and the midsole. Of course, originally appearing in the ‘Olive’ colourway, Travis Scott’s maiden AJ6 collaboration landed in October 2019 (after Scott teased the silhouette during Super Bowl LIII).
Still no official release date, but look out for the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 ‘British Khaki’ on April 30 at select retailers. Confirmation can’t be too far away. The retail price is locked at $250.
