On-Foot Look: The sacai x Nike VaporWaffle 'Tour Yellow'
After a huge 2019, partnership took some time to get going this year. However, with the release of a new VaporWaffle collaboration almost upon us, it looks like the sneakersphere is ready for another dose of Chitose Abe's trailblazing label. Originally revealed in New York back , the sneaker is tipped to be another hit from the Japanese designer.
On-foot pics from solebyjc have arrived to further whet our appetite, showing off the sporty colourway in all its glory. Coming through in a low-cut package, the sleek VaporWaffle arrives in a 'Tour Yellow', 'Stadium Green', and 'Sail' scheme, reminding us a bit of the Australian national team colours.
The upper is constructed in a mix of mesh and suede for a lightweight look and feel. Meanwhile, all the sacai hallmarks return, including dual branding on the tongues, side Swooshes, and heels, as well as intertwined laces. Down below, we get a layered sole, which sits just above a black waffle rubber outsole.
No official release has been confirm, but you can expect the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle 'Tour Yellow' to release towards the back end of 2020 at select retailers and Nike. The retail price tag is slated to be $180.
