On-Foot Look: The sacai x Nike VaporWaffle ‘Sail’
The x VaporWaffle lineup continues to expand, with a smorgasbord of set to launch during 2021’s northern Spring season. Recently leaked, we’ve now got an on-foot look at the ‘Sail’ rendition that’s sure to be one of more sought-after colourways of the batch. Coming through via leak freak yankeekicks, the pictorial gives us the best look at the sneaker yet.
The latest batch of sacai goodness will include Sesame/Blue Void/White, Black/Off-Noir, Dark Iris/Campfire Orange/White and White/Sail colourways, the latter pictured here. Featuring a mix of mesh and suede, the upper is decorated with white and ‘Sail’ for a very clean scheme. The colours are offset by the busy aesthetic, which is comprised of dual branding on the tongues, side Swooshes, and heels, as well as intertwined laces. The trademark sacai layered sole sits atop a waffle rubber outsole below to complete the design.
We’ve still got no official release date for the latest sacai x Nike VaporWaffle drop, but an announcement shouldn’t be too far away. We’ll keep you posted!
