On-Foot Look: The Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low (2021)
Amsterdam-based artist Parra is set to make another anticipated return to the sneaker world, following up his Nike SB Dunk Low and Blazer Low from 2019 with a brand new colourway of the former. The 2019 Dunk Lows certainly caused a stir upon release, and there's no doubt 2021's drop will do the same. We've seen on-foot shots of an uber-limited F&F version, and now the same has come through for the more 'accessible' colourway.
Dialling up the tones on the previous link-up, the uppers are decorated with Parra's inimitable artistic style, with an unmistakable vibrant overlay featuring blue, red and pink shades. Balancing out the wild patterns is strategically placed sections done in white, while a mini Swoosh is seen on the mudguard. For some contrast, the side Swoosh logo is done in black. Additionally, we can see Parra branding on the heel, while crispy white laces are a more refined choice compared to the black-detailed version we saw in the sample leak. Down below, we get a more traditional look, with a white midsole and a gum-like outsole.
We've still got no official release info for the Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low. However, considering all the sneak peeks, we expect to see a release in the coming months at select skate shops, and possibly via Nike. Stay tuned for updates.
