Official Pics: The Nike Dunk Low ‘Free 99’

While sneak peek images have been doing the rounds since early this year, we now have official pics of the darker of the duo of ‘Free 99’ Nike  Dunk Lows. In fact, renders of the pack first emerged in June last year, but there’s nothing like taking a look at the real thing. 

The vibrant duo rocks a mismatched array of colours across each design, with one anchored by white, and the other by black. And it’s that darker option that appears above, the black joined by ‘Dark Chocolate’ on the side Swooshes, plus pastel shades of pink, green, yellow and blue. A white midsole adds further contrast, before the all-important ‘Gum’ outsole finishes off the vibe.

While this release might not quite reach the same hype levels as last year’s  Nike SB x Ben & Jerry’s ‘Chunky Dunky’ drop, it does exude a similar ice cream kind of vibe – especially if you’re into gelati. The ‘Free 99’ moniker has been given thanks to the luminescent price tags that are plastered onto the insoles.

Pairs aren’t expected to land until summer in the northern hemisphere, but these pics should be evidence enough that these will be worth the wait.
