Official Pics: The adidas NMD S1 Is Almost Here
Following the back in June this year via , official images are now circulating for the futuristic . As always, the final brand shots of a shoe provide a closer look at the details, and offer an uncluttered view at the design.
The most notable feature of this new release is the super chunky sole unit, with the more familiar BOOST cushioning replaced by a chunky midsole that seems to have been inserted with gel-like technology. Underneath that eye-catching feature, the outsole uses multiple Trefoils for an aggressive tread pattern.
Up top, the upper retains the fully knitted construction, and is complemented with synthetic overlays on the translucent quarter panels to deliver the beloved Three Stripes branding hit. With no visible seams, and a minimalist lacing system, the NMD S1 maintains the successful sock-like look and feel of its predecessors – albeit with quite a different overall aesthetic.
The arrival of official pics generally means the release isn’t too far away, and pairs of the adidas NMD S1 are expected to drop soon.
