Artist Nina Chanel Abney turned the heads and piqued the interest of sneakerheads globally last week when her surfaced, and now it turns out she's got more than one sneaker on the way - she revamped the as well! Much like its high-top cousin, Abney's take on the low-cut iteration of second signature shoe offers a minimalistic, deconstructed look with a bright pop of colour and a special hangtag.
Revealed in photos from , the Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 2 Low retains the crisp leather upper, suede toe cap, pebbled leather midfoot overlay and insole branding of its high-top counterpart. The painting-style hangtag returns as well, showing an abstract MJ shooting a jumper over three adversaries dressed in Los Angeles Lakers-coloured uniforms and bordered by ornate detailing. However, its heels boast a forest green plastic clip that matches the ball-and-wings logo on the tongue while heel tabs aid with entry and removal.
