Nike Serve Seasonal Zoom Vomero 5s
are pretty much making for all seasons in 2023. The resurrected 2010s runner remains functional behind its , all thanks to the fact that it was one of the Swoosh’s best performance shoes at the time. With practicality at the fore as always, this upcoming edition leans into autumnal shades with versatile colour combos.
Layers of synthetic and mesh feature as per usual, and this pair also includes some subtle reflective strips on the heel counter, tongue and toe cap, nodding to the model’s OG features. Like most Vomero 5 releases, Bill Bowerman’s face shows up on the insoles – another period-correct detail. It’s likely the Nike stalwart would be very pleased to hear people still see the Vomero vision. And even if they don’t, they’re still likely enjoying the namesake Zoom Air cushioning.
On the colourway front, beige and tan are winning combinations for on-trend sneakerheads, and the addition of leafy green out the backside of the heels is very welcome. Nike also add a touch of orange pumpkin spice trim to the Swoosh, which definitely deserves a chef’s kiss.
Keep an eye out at Nike retailers in coming months for this new Zoom Vomero 5. Given its palette, it might be another quarter away.
