Nike Announce Travis Scott x Air Max 1 Release Postponement
Travis Scott's previously imminent 'Baroque Brown' and 'Saturn Gold' Air Max 1s have officially been postponed.
Following the tragic events that have resulted from the Astroworld Festival, Nike have up until now been yet to issue a statement, while the rapper himself took to social media to express his devastation to his fans as well as to the families of those affected. Breaking their silence, the Swoosh have delivered their announcement via the SNKRS app, which reads: 'Out of respect for everyone impacted by the tragic events at the Astroworld Festival, we are postponing the launch of the Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack.'
This latest update will serve as a surprise to nobody, while many will still question whether or not the AM1s should even eventually drop. Images of Scott's colab first began circulating earlier this year and both pairs were seen listed on SNKRS even post-event. They were reportedly due to see an exclusive drop on the weekend of the concert, with a wider release at the time being scheduled for December 16.
We'll continue to provide ongoing updates on this developing story.
