Nike To Spend $1 Billion On New Headquarters
Nike's 150,000 square foot HQ in Manhattan made headlines recently, but it's nothing compared to the brand's $1 billion plans for Beaverton.
While announced last year, Nike's 3.2 million square foot home base upgrade has just featured in The Oregonian, who shed some light on design details. The expansion will reportedly include three new mega buildings, three garages and we're sure there'd be a b-ball court or football field in there too.
Local construction and real estate experts estimate the colossal campus reno will come in around $1 billion USD. The world’s largest sportswear account can definitely afford it – their last earnings report revealed they made the build cost several times over last year – but still, that’s a whole lotta Roshes!
