Gone are the days when Guess Who, Battleship and Hungry, Hungry Hippos were all a person needed to have a little fun. Now, thanks to Nike’s ingenious new game, The GRID, London will be turned into a Parker Bros. game board. Dividing the city into 40 postcodes – 10 North, 10 South, 10 East and 10 West – London will feature several 'GRID' marked phone booths that will act as game board markers.

The Swoosh is challenging runners to do their best Usain Bolt between these specially marked locations. Points will be scored for speed, endurance and stamina (which will be tracked online). The starter's pistol for this interactive initiative is set for 8pm on April 23 with game-play lasting 24 hours. Interested players need to register here to receive their unique GRID code. Official game rules can also be found here. Become a fan of The GRID on Facebook to receive latest news and updates.

London grime artist, Tempa T has also recorded a freestyle track, I PAR, which has been inspired by The GRID. Enjoy.
