Update July 29, 2022: Official images of the Nike Terminator High 'Georgetown' retro have surfaced, which confirms their existence! Check the shots out above, ahead of the still unannounced release.

2022 has been quite a year for Georgetown Hoyas-inspired kicks: Jordan Brand gave us the Air Jordan 1 Hi '85 'Georgetown' – which was based on an unreleased Air Jordan 1 sample – at the top of April, and now it appears as if Nike are bringing back the Terminator High in its original 'Georgetown' colourway. The Termnator is inextricably linked to Georgetown because it was debuted as a Hoyas-exclusive sneaker for the 1985 NCAA men's basketball tournament before seeing a general release. Now, 37 years later, the Terminator is making yet another return to the market and is said to have all the qualities of the original 1985 pair, which is pictured above!

Any good Georgetown sneaker supplies a crisp grey and navy colour scheme, and this Terminator High features the former shade on its toebox, quarter and heel while the latter is used on the mudguard, Swoosh and eyestays, while also splitting space on the collar. All this is placed atop a white midsole/blue outsole combo and officially dubbed 'Granite/Dark Obsidian-Sail'.

The Terminator's signature detail, however, is the huge Nike hit on the heel – which earned it a 'Big Nike' nickname back in 1985 and even spawned a model that was officially named the Big Nike! Fun fact: unlike the Terminator's general release pairs, the version given to Georgetown players said 'Hoyas' on the heel instead of 'Nike.'

Expect the Nike Terminator High 'Georgetown' to release later in the year for $120, and stay tuned for more info/official photos.
