Nike SB Give the SB Dunk Low A Splash of 'Light Cognac'

Nike SB Dunk Low 'Light Cognac'

When it was a fledgling line instead of a global skateboard powerhouse, Nike SB were propped up by the support of early-adopter local skateshops. Now, two decades-plus after its founding, Nike's skateboard division certainly doesn't need any assistance – but they haven't forgotten their early days, which is why there's an Orange Label line of products created exclusively for skateshops. The shoes are always a key piece of any Orange Label offering, and one of the latest Orange Label kicks to be revealed is an SB Dunk Low in a luxurious 'Light Cognac' colourway.

Similar – but not identical – to Nike Sportswear's Dunk Low 'Harvest Moon', the 'Light Cognac' boasts a full leather upper split between white and the light tan colour that it pulls its name from. It definitely earns the 'Light' part of the moniker: this SB Dunk's cognac of choice doesn't imitate the dark brown hue of Henny or Erk N' Jerk! Apart from its leather upper, there's a signature puffy foam tongue with an appropriately orange-adorned Orange Label tongue tag, an insole with a heel Zoom Air unit and a two-tone midsole/outsole combo.

A release date for the Nike SB Dunk Low 'Light Cognac' has yet to be announced, but it probably doesn't have a hard street date and will instead roll out at skate shops with an Orange Label account over the next few months. The MSRP will be set at $100.
