The Nike SB Dunk Low 'Fog' Is an Update on a Classic
Nike SB are throwing it back to the 'golden age' with the release of the SB Dunk Low 'Fog'. A modern-day low-top take on the SB Dunk High 'Midnight Fog' from 2005, this SB Dunk provides all the stormy style of its predecessor, but adds a few tweaks as well.
Though the 'Fog' is built with the same black suede as its predecessor, it differentiates itself by wearing a lighter shade of grey on its Swooshes, plus opting for tonal black collar lining instead of the grey lining seen on the 'Midnight Fog'. Midsoles follow this ethos as well, swapping out the original grey in favour of a murky black. Things come back together on the shoe's lowermost reaches thanks to the inclusion of a traditional gum outsole.
The Nike SB Dunk Low 'Fog' is an in-line release that, pending an on-time arrival at skate shops, is supposed to arrive this October. However, due to the open-ended nature of in-line SB releases in 2021, we may well be waiting until closer to the end of the year. In the meantime, see a side-by-side comparison of the new 'Fog' and the original 'Midnight Fog' below.
