The San Francisco Giants Have Their Own Nike SB Dunk High

Update March 30, 2022: @prvt.selection have come through with additional shots of the Nike SB Dunk High modelled after the Giants baseball team. Check the images out above.

Baseball-themed Nike SB Dunks have been a hot topic in sneaker headlines throughout 2022, with multiple pairs surfacing that are part of an upcoming ‘Bubble Gum’ pack. Each have a small splash of pink on the lateral heel, a homage to baseball players' tendency to chew gum in the dugouts, and are dressed in colourways inspired by team’s uniforms. So far, we’ve witnessed the ‘Mets’ colourway on a SB Dunk High and ‘Phillies’ SB Dunk Low and now a ‘Giants’ colourway has just been leaked.

@solesbyzay has come through with imagery and info for the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Giants’ and it opts for an incredibly approachable colourway with similar material to the earlier shown ‘Mets’ joint. Interestingly, mesh has been laid out as the base material with suede overlays and dual-tone Swooshes in the SF Giants’ colours. Two specialised graphics adorn the inside of the tongues with a large glove paying homage to the world's biggest baseball glove statue outside of San Francisco’s Oracle Park. There’s also a kayak which represents the tradition of fans wading through McCovey Cove in an attempt to catch a home run.

Although we have imagery and plenty of information on the upcoming Nike SB Dunk High ‘Giants’ we haven’t heard about a release date or received any official confirmation as of yet. Stay tuned!
