Nike Sales Spike Again After Colin Kaepernick's 'Just Do It' Commercial
The advertisement caused quite the controversy (with the POTUS himself weighing in), but the move doesn’t appear to have impacted the sales — in fact, it’s quite the opposite. Online sales jumped significantly following the video, and according to Reuters, numbers continue to spike. The number of sold out items on Nike’s website rose 61 per cent from September 3 to September 13, with reporting 1131 out-of-stock items (compared to 703 the previous week).
