Nike Mag Designer Tiffany Beers Has Left The Swoosh For Tesla

Tiffany Beers, the phenomenal design mind behind some of the world's most innovative sneakers, has left  to go and work for Tesla. As the Swoosh's senior innovator, Beers was instrumental in designing and engineering their self-lacing and – along with a host of other models, including Kanye’s first Yeezy.

Now, just days after posting a fortune cookie note advising it was ‘time for a different dance,’ and time to ‘take a risk’, Beers has revealed that she's taken on the role of 'staff technical program manager' at Tesla. It's not clear what she’ll be working on, but we can only hope that it involves something like self-buckling seatbelts or tech-adaptions of 80s-inspired vehicles.
