Official Images: Nike LeBron 9 ‘LeBronold Palmer’
LeBron James continues to defy the hands of time with his scintillating on-court performances, his latest 56-point barrage helping the embattled LA Lakers register a much-needed W. LeBron is not only turning back the clock with his play, the 37-year-old revisiting some of the more coveted sneaker releases in his catalogue.
The latest LeBron signature shoe to get exhumed is the Nike x LeBron 9 ‘LeBronold Palmer’, a playful ode to the King’s favourite beverage. Originally an uber-limited PE, the ‘LeBronold Palmer’ colourway debuted on court in the summer of 2012. Of course taking aesthetic cues from the half-half blend of lemonade and iced tea, the popular drink was inspired by the gold legend, Arnold Palmer.
Expected to finally arrive in 2022 after numerous leaks last year, James wore the sneakers over All-Star Weekend in Cleveland, where he dropped the game-winning shot for the West (‘Cleveland, this is for you!’) Take a look at the official images and keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.
