Nike is Launching a New Metaverse Platform Soon!

The past few years have seen a swathe of brands looking to engage in the Metaverse, with Nike leading the charge. Back in November of 2021 Team Swoosh filed trademark applications for their products to be used in the virtual world. They then created ‘NIKELAND’, an expansive world within Roblox and later acquired RTFKT Studios. This year, the Swoosh created a new division called ’Nike Virtual Studios’ and they’re preparing a brand new Metaverse platform that’s being unveiled soon!

Not much is known about this new platform as of yet, however according to their launch page, it will arrive on November 14! Upon loading the page, text appears which says ‘The first 50 years were special. And the next 50 we’re going to create together’, also stating that ‘We’re building a safe and secure platform for you to discover, collect, and create virtual products.’
