Nike Introduces Sneakerboot Collection For 2013
In the north world it feels like the sun shrinks a little more everyday as Jack Frost starts stretching his legs from the summer slumber and gets set to wreak chilly havoc upon the poor people. However, Nike is hoping to warm hearts and toes a bit by launching this 'SneakerBoot' collection. The range takes a slew of fan favourite silhouettes, including the Roshe Run, Dunk Sky Hi, Air Max 90, Free Run 2 and LDV and revamps them for wet weather conditions. The most important alteration for most people will probably be the water resistant uppers, with the ever-so-breathable and light mesh that often drapes these models replaced with stauncher materials, including WaterShield technology. Many of the silhouettes also have raised ankle collars to stop that puddle juice from pooling in your shoes and added outsole traction for skating safe on icy sidewalks. The we featured recently is included in the drop, and serves as the inspiration for the range - Nike even calls it the 'original SneakerBoot'. The SneakerBoot Collection will be available beginning in early October. Follow on Twitter for more details related to release timing.
