Whenever a shoe as hotly anticipated as the HyperAdapt 1.0 is coming, the rumour mill spins a little faster than usual. Reports circulating recently have slated the HyperAdapt 1.0 to retail for a cool $1000USD, which has rightly caused a mix reaction from many people. No doubt a shoe with the research and development process on the scale of the HyperAdapt is going to be pricey – but word is, it will be a little easier on the pocket than once thought.

News from sneaker personality Jacques Slade reports that a retail price and a (new) release date have been confirmed by Nike. The self-lacing futuristic silhouette will release on December 1 in three colourways; black, white and grey. The elation of a confirmed drop date may be diluted slightly for some sneakerheads though with Nike indicating that – though still cheaper than a thousand bucks – they’ll wear a price tag of $720 USD and will only release in limited numbers. Naturally, nothing can be sure until you see the bottom line at the check out. But just in case, start stacking your cash if you're keen to cop – these won't last long no matter the ticket.
