Originally released in 1985, the Dunk debuted as Nike’s original ‘team shoe’. Dropping in several colourways paying homage to iconic high school hoopers like Kentucky and Michigan, the Swoosh continue to leverage the silhouette’s 1980s DNA in 2022.
The latest colourway again references the ‘Be True to Your School’ ethos, the 'Miami Hurricanes' model exalting one of the most influential sports teams in America. Composed in the Hurricanes indelible green and orange, the Dunk opts for a leather base with classic nylon tongues. Green leather overlays provide aesthetic depth, while team Beaverton branding appears on the tongue tags, heel tabs and insoles.
Down below, white midsoles provide distinction, while green rubber outsoles complete the colourway.
Look for the Nike Dunk Low ‘Miami Hurricanes’ to land over the coming weeks. The retail price is locked at $100.
