It might be time to start referring to the Nike Dunk as 'The Destroyer'. While we’ve had plenty of silver screen superheroes invading cinemas in recent years, few sneakers can rival the muscle of the Nike Dunk in recent years, the 1980s hooper exhumed alongside its SB counterpart to become a cultural supernova.
The Swoosh keep rolling with solid GR colourways, the latest burning hot ‘Magma Orange’ utilising a spray face. Ostensibly taking aesthetic cues from legendary street artist Eric Haze and his Nike Dunks of 2003, the ‘Magma Orange’ is rendered in a spraypaint-like fade reminiscent of graffiti work in the 1990s.
Starting with ‘Pearl White’ leather underlays, the Dunk spray fade also extends to the Nike tongue tags, where its titular orange partly obscures the logo.
There are no official release details as yet, but make sure to keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.
