The faux-vintage trend has picked up steam in recent months, especially when it comes to the on-trend Dunk silhouette, the Air Jordan 1 and sneaker customisers are even going as far as fabricating the distressed, pre-worn, vintage look. Not all sneakerheads can make sense of the practice but now Nike are taking the trend into their own hands. We recently got a look at two Dunk Lows one dubbed ‘Vintage Green’ and the other given the moniker ‘Vintage Navy’ and both look like they’ve come straight from 1985.
Next up is a similar pair that we’ll call ‘Vintage Grey’ and official imagery has surfaced confirming that these are on the way. While not as intense as the ‘Vintage Green’ that released this week, the midsole still sees a slightly pre-yellowed midsole. Up top a three-tone look has been utilised, with subtle white leather, grey overlays and black Swoosh, heel and laces.
The official images have arrived which means that these vintage-inspired grey Nike Dunk Lows will see a release soon, however we’re yet to hear an exact date.
