It's been another bumper year for the Nike Dunk in 2022. A heritage hooper from the 1980s, Nike’s understated silhouette has enjoyed a renaissance in recent years, thanks largely to OG players like Diamond Supply Co., Concepts and Piet Parra collaborating on the SB counterpart, and of course the likes of Travis Scott taking the silhouette to astronomical levels.
The latest in-house colourway to arrive involves the Nike Dunk Low ‘Green Velvet’, an eye-catching rendition hot on the heels of the Air Max 95 edition. Composed in ‘Dark Teal’ and ‘White’, the velvet material is of course one of the most luxurious aesthetics available to sneakerheads. Replacing the customary leather uppers with the aforementioned velvet, the Dunk still utilises mesh tongues and lining. Elsewhere, white laces, Nike branding and midsoles provide distinction to the design.
Look for the Nike Dunk Low ‘Green Velvet’ to release in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, make sure to check out the Air Max 95 ‘Green Velvet’.
